You did what you had to do for your little girl – and I pray that she’s doing well, and thriving much better now.

For those of you who have no compassion, and all you can say is “put the baby in the crib and let her cry it out …” Let me tell you something … I suffer from acid reflux … and it’s painful! If it’s painful for an adult – try being an infant .. the pain is unbearable because the infant can’t tell you accept through screaming and crying …

So, you idiots (you know who you are!) out there who have nothing better to do than make stupid remarks – crawl back into your sandbox head first!!

have you tried chaning her diet to remove dairy and soy? nutramigen does contain dairy and soy and my girl was recating to that. she is both dairy and soy allergic. she switched to a formula that is compleatly hypoallergenic called Neocate and is now thrving.

My 8 month old has had reflux from day one. She’s currently on Prevacid, but it only works for an hour or two and the attacks get bad again. She screams all day, every day. Its awful. I’ve tried changing her formula to Nutrimigen, but no luck. Her pediatrician is convinced that its just reflux, but I’m pretty sure its something more. She has an ultrasound next week. It hurts me to see her in so much pain, I can’t even fathom how she must feel.

My son had acid refulx horribly bad. He too was put on liquid zantac and put on Nutramigen formula for almost 6 months. He would scream in pain just like your baby. It would take his breath away. He is 5 now and rarely has tummy troubles. I just monitor what he eats and eating yogurt in the mornings really helps a lot.

My son had acid reflux so bad he was admitted to the hospital because it literally took his breath away and he stopped breathing several times. After taking liquid zantac, switching to playtex drop in bottles and not feeding him too much at one time he seemed to get better. We had to keep him in an upright position also… at 6 months he came off his meds perfectly healthy.. good luck!

my little girl is ten weeks old and has had reflux so bad that she was adnitted into the hospital for a couple days about 3 weeks ago!! u are right u never know how bad it is untill you experience it!! my little girl screamed one night for 10 hours straight!!!! untill she finally literally dropped to sleep on my shoulder and i mean her head literally dropped from exhaution!!! it breaks my heart to see any baby (and parents) go through this!!!

my son has reflux too, its a hard raod, i hope things are easing up, no one knows how hard it is till they have been there.

before this vido she was taken to the er many times, even the childrens hosptal in our city, but she was miss diagnosed as colic….. took us going to the ER about 50 times in one month to get an appt with the ped GI team and a dx of sever acid reflux and major food allergies. thank god she is no longer like this

If she is in that much pain take her to the ER and not leave till they make her better. That’s calling “being a MOTHER!.
